Stories

Tell me a story of simpler times
Tell me a story with simple rhymes
One with great heroes and heroines
One with great foes and villains

Weave it to the wee hours of the night
Like a seamstress at her loom
Weave in a good battle or a good fight
Like the Spartans who fought under the moon

Tell me a story of far away lords and lands
Tell me a story of grand parties and grander bands
One with dragons, orcs, demons and dwarves
One with wizards, witches, sprites and elves

Push the boundaries of space, time and my mind
Reveal for me what lessons and truths I may find
Push new ways of seeing, hearing and feeling life
Reveal how to succeed through the toughest strife

D.C.

Cornerstone of our country as we know it
Birthplace of freedom and a place
Where generations can begin anew
LIfe without you simply wouldn't do

Cultures, people, hearts and minds
Collide to bring about change daily
Within your hallowed walls, pillars and
Lush lawns and gardens

Democratic or Republican is the question
On the lips of every politician
Afterwards heated debates are soon to follow
Two roads towards a better country

Who is right and who is wrong depends
On the television you watch or
The newspaper you read
Either way your boat floats

It is important to be involved
On some level be it great or small
For growth to continue we need to
Or the same ideas will arise

From like minded people and change
Will not bring about a better place
Whichever party you subscribe to
You should always, always VOTE!

Journeys

Here, there and everywhere we go
What our destination is we do not know
We certainly are in a hurry to get there though
And get there fast we do

In our faster cars, boats and plains
In our better sneakers, bikes and skateboards
We certainly are in a hurry to get there though
And get there fast we do

Go faster and faster and faster still
Our destination is not that far
On your feet, on a bike or a skateboard
Our destination is not that far

Here there and everywhere we go
What our destination is we do not know
We certainly are in a hurry to get there
And get there fast we do

Go faster and faster still
Our destination is no that far
In your car, boat or plain
Our destination is not that far

Enjoy your time here
For it is very short
LIfe is precious, look around once in a while
And remember life is a journey not a destination

I Love To Write

I love to write
Because it motivates me to be better
I love to write
Because it motivates you too

I love to write
Because I grow more each time I do
I love to write
Because you do too

I love to write
Because it brings new ideas to life
I love to write
Because it helps you in your daily life

I love to write
Because it brings hope to me
I love to write
Because it hope to you too

I love to write
Because life is too short not to
I love to write
Because it lets me be a part of your life

I love to write
Because it opens doors and overcomes walls
I love to write
Because it opens the door to you and overcomes your walls

I love to write
Because I can't live without it
I love to write
Because I know you can't either

I love to write
Because we are in this life together
I love to write
Because God is in this too

I love to write
For you, you and you
I love to write
Because I hope you will too
