She's made billions for those who have used her well

She comes in many phenomenal forms

She lives in many countries, but celebrated by one

She helps people across the world start their routines

Some of the many places you can find her are

In a cup, pill, soda, bag, can and many more

She has a growing number of helpful uses

She is the watchful guardian of the tired

Giving them a jolt of life in tired bones

She is the best friend of college students

During finals week at college across the globe

She is the staple of the office, the military and all

Efficient men and women in the work force

She is the fuel that the world truly runs on

Not oil, gas, electricity, wood or coal

A Positive Mental Attitude At All Costs

Remember at all costs to keep a positive head

Even when the chips are down there is always a silver lining

There is a lesson to be learned from all accidents 

A positive mental message from all mistakes

If life gives you lemons, make lemonade

If life gives you rain grab an umbrella and a smile

Life is full of things to be happy about

You simply have to look around and see them

When you awake greet the day with a smile

And be happy to be alive and well

When it is hot out, be thankful for air conditioning

When it is cold out be thankful for heat

When it is raining be thankful for umbrellas and crops

When it is snowing be thankful for snowballs and hot cocoa

When you have a headache be thankful for pain pills

When you have a cold be thankful for warm blankets and soup

Infectious Enthusiasm and Attitude

It will spread like a virus or the modern day common cold

But not in a negatively hurtful way like these two

Instead in a positive wave of happiness and enlightenment

Helping all of those who wonder into it's path

Can be when used by the right person in

The right place and the right time with the right people

Which thankfully is the situation almost all of the time

I am also describing an enthusiastic attitude in the face of adversity

This adversity can take on many different forms such as

The people you meet during the day, the experience

The key to wield these ever important weapons in

The vastly negative world of ours is  to 

Not sweat the small stuff and when stressed

Technologica, Part-1

Out of our long past

We have arisen to great heights

The year is 2099

We have conquered many things

Aging has become less of an issue

Now that the chemical has been removed back in 2030

People can now live to the ripe old age of 300

Or possibly longer…time will tell

Cars are a thing of the past

Since teleportation was invented in 2040

We are now in an efficient age

Where all menial tasks are handled by machines

Even the technicians to fix the machines

Are robots running off of nuclear power

When these robots break

They have nano robots that fix them

Interstellar travel became a reality

Back in 2020 when the company Frontiers invented it

The first trip out of our solar system was 2030

Passenger flights began in 2040

We had came a long way 

From our humble Sumerian beginnings

The sky was no longer the limit

And we now know we are not alone in the universe

An Individual Community

We are all a bunch of individuals

Living in our own individual worlds

Going about our everyday life

Completely independent of those around us

Or are we really?

Or can we really  be completely individual?

Or has the definition of community simply grown,

With our contemporary, state-of-the art, digital 21st century?

We still may physically live in boroughs, villages

Towns, burgs, boondocks, ports, burbs or cities

But mentally we live on the digital frontier

Where physical distance is inconsequential

A place where similarities can bring us together

Across state lines, time zones and oceans

We have all become a part of a greater community 

In the greatest individual community…Earth!!

I understand

Life is hard and the going gets tough

Life will put you through trials and tribulations

Sometimes you wonder will I make it?

I understand how you feel

LIfe pushes you through boundaries

You never knew you could or would cross

Life shapes you like a piece of clay

In the blink of an eye or the twinkle of a tear drop

Life can be shaped by you if you will it so

For the right goal I understand

You Can, You Have and You Will

You can achieve amazing things

You have it in you to change the world

You simply have to see the you others don't 

You have to see the inner you

The one you know exists within

Just itching to get out and make it happen

The one who has a beat all odds attitude

Just release your truest you

You have done amazing things

You've influenced the lives of others

You've helped people better themselves

You've given hope to those who had none

These things you have to write down

Look at one everyday to motivate you

Think of a way to help someone once a week

When you're better at it find a way once a day

You will because you are awesome

You are one of a kind and have innate talent

You have abilities you haven't even used yet

You can because you do it for everyone

The ability to multi-task will be redefined

A new definition will have to be created for what you do

Books will be written and movies will be made
