I Am Found

I am finding myself more and more everyday. The missing parts of me I once thought I had forgotten are now appearing as if they had never left.The happy, the strong and the sturdy parts are reappearing, better, stronger and faster then they once were. The confident me is resurfacing, like a drowning victim catching breath for the first time, after what was thought to be a last gulp of air. Happiness washes over me like a tidal wave washing over the sunbaked Hawaiian sand. 

The poetic me is reemerging like a rose after a long, bitter cold winter. The artist in me rejoices, for my palette is once again overflowing. The old me is becoming a part of the new me and I am becoming whole again. A new me is emerging, capable of far greater things then I once believed I could ever do. Doors I once thought were closed…open before my hand reaches them…Great things are coming…

Be Greater

There is something bigger then all of us. There is something that unites all of us. We are all apart of something greater. We can all achieve greater things then we ever thought possible. I Am The Iron and the Sweat…

I am the iron clinking early in the morning
In the afternoon, late into each and every night
I am a factory unlike any other you've seen
Even though I produce a well oiled machine

I am the blood, sweat and tears of the many
Who spend hours a day, working their fanny
To get quicker, stronger and stress free
I am the many who work inside me

I am the many with New Year's resolutions
Who think they have easy solutions
I am the many, many classes
Trying to shrink their very large assets

I am the youthful once a week slackers
Who are better at being stalkers and gawkers
I am the youthful basketballers
And their silvery networking racquetballers

I am the sauna skulkers
And the swimming lunkers
I am the cardio Kardashian
Dressed to impress, anxious to be seen

I am lastly and certainly not leastly
Those that are simply beastly
This is not bad in any sense
Their biceps, triceps and abs are simply immense

The Phoenix Emerges

All of the hurt and pain fueled the fires

Of its innermost heated desires

Its many battles tempered and forged it

Like a sword in a smith's fire pit

The emergence wasn't so much a start

But more of an inner and outer sight

Of many good times in a wondrous past

And how one could make them last

Belief in the awesome power of one

Began a light brighter then the sun

It emerged from the seemingly endless dark

A bright little ember, now ready to embark

The time is now thought the phoenix to begin

Until now what it had kept hidden deep within

With its faith in self and God restored

Look beyond the here and now

Like A Michigan Millionaire

My voice has been sold over 300 million times

I am featured in Guinness for my rhymes

I was once a part of two popular bands

One a meal club, the other one of many awards

Like another I started out dancing

In the big, big city

Like her I stood out singing

Alone I shone brightly

I'm not known for my acting but 

I have won two awards for it

For singing I topped the charts

Only beaten by British upstarts

I dance to a different drum

As well as play them

I have labels with a king
