I am as clear as the richest of crystal goblets
Or darker then the darkest of stormy nights
You will find me as gentle and soft as a newborn baby
Or as violent and angry as Spartan warriors of old
My reach extends to all the corners of the earth
Supporting life yet discovered by modern man
There is more known about the dust on the moon
Then parts of my vast expansiveness
Songs are sung by man and and beast while
Traveling over me or within my great expanses
Tales are told of many a beautiful maid
Where men's imaginations mainly wade
I am home to some of the most beautiful shades of
Yellow, orange, green, pink, purple and blue
And colors yet to be given a name by science or artist
I may be salty and savage, but I am also savvy and slick
