Lessons

Life is full of them
Some are expected
While others unplanned
The key is to walk away wiser

LIfe is littered with them
Some are really tough
While others really easy
The solution is simple

Remember reflection is
The key to walk away wiser
Remember applied knowledge is
The simple solution

Life is only hard if you make it hard
The solution maybe simple but for many
It is far from easy for them to see
What truly needs to be for you and for me

The path is there you too can be
You simply have to open your eyes and see
What's true to you and true to me
You and I are the same you see

Riddle Number 9

I am ever present
Breaks are for slackers
I am the delivery person
For all things good or bad

I am timeless and timely
Time is a tool in my belt
Right next to age and space
To the left of light

I carry the universe in my back pocket
I am beyond reason, thought or explanation
I am the only constant in a transitioning world
I can wield the seasons like weapons

Fall to wither leaves
Winter to chill bones
Spring to brighten moods
Summer to relax

The Beach

My favorite place to see
There's no place I'd rather be
The tide comes in
The tide goes out

With the smell of the open sea
I am as happy as can be
The tide comes in
The tide goes out

The sounds of the waves
Are one of my personal faves
The tide comes in
The tide goes out

The feel of the wind on my face
I never want to replace
The tide comes in
The tide goes out

Riddle Number 8

I am every shape, size and color
I am sweet, sour and salty
I am cheap and expensive
I am found on every continent

I am the joy of the young and the the old
From the very boring, to the very bold
I can last for years and years
Or be gone in an instant

I come in a plethora of packages
In glass, paper or plastic
I've been around far, far longer
Then your great, great grandmother

I am chilled to the bone
Or kept warm on a shelf
I'm the goal of
Every child's allowance
