Broaden Your Inner View

Let your mind be open to the possibilities
Of the promise a broader view holds
Open the doors of your mind
And let all of the positive energy in

Only close these all important doors to the
Negativity of news, others and everyday life
See the glass as half full, never half empty
Life is short, you might as well be happy

By filtering out the bad and keeping the good
A newer, better healthier outlook will arise
In time others will become more positive around you
Gradually people will want to be around you and wonder why

To start this better outlook on life one must
See the glass as half full, not half empty
See mistakes as lessons, not burdens
And above all else laugh, laugh and laugh some more
