Time is the Only Real Currency-2

If you really think about it

Everything else is all relative

Paper bills are really only paper

Gold is really just a rock

So if you think about it further

There are 60 seconds in a minute

60 minutes in an hour

Twenty-four hours a day

Seven days in a week

Four weeks in a month

12 months in a year

365 days a year…

The average person works 

8 hours a day with 2 fifteen minute breaks

And one Half an hour lunch

Which amounts to 7.5 hours of break each week

Now the average person has Saturday and Sunday (or 2 days off per week)

And the average person sleeps approximately 8 hours

The average person also commutes an hour or less each way to work

So about 10 hours each day is set aside for work

So for each day of work this person should have about 6 hours

Of free time each and everyday

Which amounts to about 30 hours of free time Monday-Friday

Every single week of the year

Now to make things even more interesting we factor in the weekend

Our model person is off on weekends, no work and no commute

So…this person has 32 free hours every Saturday and Sunday free

Running the numbers this person has 62 hours of free time every week

To dive even further lets think about this in terms of years

In one year one could have 3,224 hours of free time

So that's 16,120 hours of free time in 5 years

Now over a lifetime of approximately 77 years, that's 248,248 hours of free time

This may all seem ridiculous to some, the only really ridiculous thing

Is how some spend the only real currency!

The old are jealous of the young because they have it. Hollywood loves the young because of this inherent jealousy and want. Oddly enough the young want to be like the old because of their knowledge and accomplishments. Then there is the middle-aged, who in reality should have it all. I believe they may face the most confusion, since they don't really like the young and fear 

being old and want to stay young.

Reflections-Part1

You look over the days of your life and you wonder a lot of different things. Everyone wants to get to their dreams, but the path there is sometimes unclear. Sometimes it needs to be reinvented or redefined or maybe you haven't found the right person to get you there just yet. Or maybe you have and you just didn't know it.

She may be right in front of your nose.

You may be on the very path you were meant to travel and you are following it, but are afraid because others don't see the path with you. A dream is never too complicated or impossible to achieve. The only real obstacle is the power of your imagination and your ability to tap into the infinite. You have to become as positive as possible. WITH LOVE AND SUPPORT ALL THINGS CAN HAPPEN!!

Be The Change You Want

Find a way to do 

Don't find a reason why you can't

You can and you will  achieve

Your goals you set forth

You are the greatest idea

Your mind has the potential

To create better things and ideas

Then have ever been dreamed of before

Tap the source of infinite intelligence

You only need to believe that it is possible

And have a sustained belief in this idea

Continuing to work at each day

Adding ideas and contacting new resources

Conceiving the idea in a a new way week by week

It will grow greater then Methuselah in California

Or taller then Mount Everest in Nepal

Now is a time for change and

You need to be the change

You want to see in the world

Become what you want to see in others

Doubt is the pesticide of good ideas

You are on the new cusp of a wave  

That will wash away the negativity of yesteryear

And foster a better world of tomorrow

You can create the next wheel

You will create the next printing press

Or the next car, plane or Google

You can create interstellar travel

Start your belief system on the full capability

Of what you can really achieve, not simply

That it can be done, but how fast and how soon

It can be done, you can and will do great things!

With A Clear Mind

With a clear head 

I move forward 

Onward and upward

Toward all of my goals

Life has give me means

To take off stress like

Just another heavy coat

A cloak of distress if you will

There are many keys to this

Quantifiable conundrum

One must find balance by

Using different ones on occasion

A Salty Day at Sea-Part 6(Part-1 is in April)

We had been out on sail for a little over a month. We were due to hit Columbus' islands soon. I was very anxious to see all the great things I hadheard to be found all around.

From beautiful native women all over, to more gold then one could ever carry.The thing I looked forward to most was the food. Our cook was very good…,but you are only as good as your resources and we were running low on bread.

The remainder of the bacon and sausage was reserved for the captain, his officers and his esteemed guest.

So having something other then eggs for breakfast, crackers and cheese for lunch and, chicken soup for dinner would be a very, very welcome change indeed.

The Brothers-Part 3

After the two days of testing. On Wednesday we had the first half of the day off, because the second part of the testing for that day had to be done at night. This test would take place in our dreams, while hooked up to a Positron Dream-o-meter. 

This device would measure our ability to positively direct our dreams so that we could achieve such a high level of control. Where even with the machine sending negative memories from our past we would be able to direct them in a positive way.

I began to prepare for the best by having friends and family come by the test area and tell me how proud they were of how I had done up to that point. Prior to taking the test I pulled out a picture of my girlfriend, smiled and knew that with her on my mind I could accomplish any task.
