Road-Tripping

I packed up my life in the back of my car
Thankfully the trip was really not that far
I was ready to go, with my life in the car
For I was guided true by the North star

With my various bags of fruits, goodies and snacks
From peanuts, to popcorn and a sack full of Apple Jacks
I was ready to roll, my car full to the brim
I pulled away as I ate my Slim Jim

With my GPS very well triangulated
And my pupils very caffeine dialated
I was ready to follow the winding road
With my reliable car to help with the load

This journey was one of many made
With memories that will never fade
I truly love the wide open road
Where new adventures will always unfold
