A Salty Day at Sea-Part 5(Part-1 is in April)

After reminiscing of days long past
My shift in the crow's nest was coming to a close
As the sun began to rise and the ship began to bustle
I climbed down the long rope ladder to the deck

Thankfully after a night in the nest I could rest
As I walked further downward, I could smell breakfast in the galleon
Our cook was one of the best in all of Spain and France and
We were very thankful for his culinary skill in the kitchen

While I walked on the deck I saw a few of my friends
And they yelled loudly to me over the roar of the ocean
Hey Jose, how was the crow's nest last night?
Did you see anything worth while they asked jokingly?

You know the usual, stars, ocean and more ocean
I yelled back jokingly to my crew of friends
Finally crossing over half of the ship I made it to the galley door
There were only a few people left down there, for most were on the ship
